- A completed degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, or a related field; a master’s degree or PhD is an advantage
- More than 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a high‑tech or demanding engineering environment
- Strong foundation in electrical engineering with a focus on modern power electronics, including SiC and GaN technologies
- Proven experience with fundamental principles and topologies of power electronics
- Hands‑on experience in prototype development and manufacturing
- Practical experience in both electrical and mechanical domains, with a strong problem‑solving mindset
- Confident handling of laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and electronic loads
- Proficiency in circuit simulation tools (e.g. SPICE, Simba) and PCB design software (e.g. Altium)
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC requirements and their implementation in power electronics design
- Experience in developing control algorithms and firmware for digital power electronics is a strong plus
- Highly self‑motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross‑functional teams
- Comfortable working with external suppliers and development partners
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
