Als Senior Embedded Software Engineer übernimmst du eine Schlüsselrolle bei der Entwicklung der Software, die unsere wasserstoff-elektrischen Antriebssysteme steuert. Von der Konzeption und Implementierung komplexer Steuerungsalgorithmen bis zur Inbetriebnahme auf Embedded-Hardware – deine Arbeit hat direkten Einfluss darauf, nachhaltiges Fliegen Realität werden zu lassen.

Das erwartet dich
  • Design und Implementierung von Software in Matlab/Simulink und C/C++
  • Inbetriebnahme auf unserer Embedded-Hardware
  • Applikation neuer Software und Unterstützung beim Bring-Up am Teststand
  • Erweiterung und Re-Design unserer Software-Architektur
  • Zusammenarbeit mit cross-funktionalen Teams zur Erarbeitung neuer System- und Software-Requirements
  • Mitgestaltung und Weiterentwicklung unseres internen Entwicklungsprozesses
Nice to Have 
  • Erfahrung in der Steuerung von Brennstoffzellen-Systemen
  • Kenntnisse zu Kommunikationsschnittstellen und -protokollen (CAN, Ethernet, RS232, RS485)
  • Know-how in höherer Regelungstechnik
  • Erfahrung mit CI/CD-Toolchains (Generierung von C/C++-Code aus Matlab/Simulink und Integration in Embedded-Systeme) 
Das bringst du mit
  • Abgeschlossenes Masterstudium im Ingenieurwesen oder (technischer) Informatik
  • Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Embedded-Softwareentwicklung mit C/C++ und Matlab/Simulink
  • Fundierte Erfahrung in Software-Struktur und -Architektur
  • Du bist ein Teamplayer mit Spaß an gemeinsamen Erfolgen und dem Teilen von Best Practices
  • Du hast eine selbstständige, zielorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie analytisches Vorgehen
  • Du bringst Motivation, Authentizität und Begeisterung für unsere Vision mit: emissionsfreies Fliegen
  • Du hast sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

What you’ll be working on
  • Design and implementation of software in Matlab/Simulink and C/C++
  • Commissioning on our embedded hardware
  • Application of new software and support during bring-up at the test bench
  • Extension and re-design of our software architecture
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define new system and software requirements
  • Active contribution to the continuous improvement of our internal development processes
Nice to Have
  • Experience in controlling fuel cell systems
  • Knowledge of communication interfaces and protocols (CAN, Ethernet, RS232, RS485)
  • Expertise in advanced control engineering
  • Familiarity with CI/CD toolchains (generating C/C++ code from Matlab/Simulink and integrating into embedded systems)
Who we're looking for
  • A completed Master’s degree in engineering or (technical) computer science
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in embedded software development with C/C++ and Matlab/Simulink
  • Solid experience in software structure and architecture
  • A true team player who enjoys achieving goals together and sharing best practices
  • An independent, goal-oriented work style combined with strong analytical skills

  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
